Advisory sessions · Rosson & Associates · effective 23 September 2026
What you are buying
A 30-minute one-to-one advisory session with Marc Rosson, held remotely over Microsoft Teams, at the price shown when you book. Topics are utility-sector strategy and technology: SAP for Utilities, distributed energy resources and DERMS, AMI, enterprise architecture, and IT roadmap or vendor selection.
What it is not
This is a professional discussion drawing on experience, and it is not legal, financial, accounting, engineering-certification or regulatory-compliance advice. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional in any of those fields, and nothing said in a session is a guarantee of any particular outcome. Decisions you take afterwards remain yours.
Confidentiality
What you discuss is treated as confidential and is not repeated or published. If your organisation requires a signed non-disclosure agreement, arrange that separately before the session — booking alone does not put one in place. Sessions are not recorded unless both of us agree in advance.
Booking and payment
- Choosing a time holds it for 30 minutes. A hold is not a booking and does not charge you.
- The session is confirmed only when payment succeeds. Confirmation is a calendar invitation containing a Microsoft Teams join link.
- If payment succeeds but the meeting cannot be scheduled, you are refunded automatically and told so. You are never charged for a session that was not scheduled.
- If a hold expires unpaid, the time simply returns to availability. Nothing is owed.
How much can be booked
This is one person's calendar, so volume is deliberately capped: a small number of sessions per day in total, and at most two per day for the same email address. A request beyond that is declined with a message saying to try another day — it is a capacity limit, not a rejection of you. To arrange several sessions at once, email instead.
Changing a booking
You can reschedule 24 or more hours before the start time by emailing marc@rosson-associates.com; we will confirm the new time and send an updated invitation. Inside 24 hours a session cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Alternatively, cancel under the Refund & Cancellation Policy and book again. If we need to move a session, you may reschedule or take a full refund, whenever it happens. See Support for how to reschedule.
Refunds
Full refund if you cancel 24 or more hours before the start; no refund inside 24 hours or for a no-show; full refund if we cancel. The complete terms are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Booking by AI assistant
Automated and AI-assistant access is permitted and supported within the published limits. Two conditions: never send card details — payment is completed on Stripe's hosted page or with a scoped payment token, and any submission containing card data is rejected; and do not attempt to work around the daily limits or the rate limit. Bulk or abusive booking, including booking in order to force refunds, may be blocked without notice.
Your responsibilities
- Give an email address you actually read — the invitation and join link go there.
- Join on time. A session runs for its scheduled 30 minutes regardless of when you arrive.
- Tell us in the notes what you want to cover, so the time is useful.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, liability arising out of a session is limited to the amount you paid for that session. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
Changes
These terms may change; the effective date above changes with them. The terms that apply to your session are the ones published when you booked it.
